After transferring to C-ville in the 8th grade, my daughter fit in like a glove. I like the smaller student:faculty ratio. No racial problems. The drug problems are of a lesser degree than the larger county school. The only down side...is that C-ville is NOT the county school so they get less money, less community involvement and less recognition.
My daughter attends Chapmanville High School and is active in sports. She makes decent grades and is getting a good education. Their SOFTBALL team is phenomenal and they are goin to win States again. The teachers and coaches really seem to care about my daughter's education.
