White Hall Elementary is an OUTSTANDING school. The staff is professional, courteous, and experienced. My child has really enjoyed her Kindergarten teacher (new to the school last year) and has learned SO much!
It is a clean and quiet school. The staff all are friendly, caring, and creative in all their teaching of not only the instructional academics, but in teaching and encouraging responsiblity for self, school, and community. The parents, community and staff are committed to working together to create an atmosphere that allows for personal growth and development. My favorite part of the day is to hear the children recite the pledge of alliance and the school's personal pledge to do their personl best in reading, math and all the rest.....It is precious. The light hearted and joyful message that the principal gives to make today our very best is Priceless! I beleive that these children will remember all their elementary days at Whitehall with much fondness.
This school is focused on the whole child and not just test scores. They are proud of the high test scores their students receive but the caring of the staff go far beyond that. I went to this school and I am proud and happy that I send my child there.
White Hall has a very 'seasoned' staff. A variety of personalities and many teachers continue to have the 'passion' to teach. The art, music, and Phys Ed programs are very enriching. The parent volunteers are amazing. The PTO is very active in getting projects done ASAP so the children can benefit from improvements ASAP. We had an unusually intense year for fundraising (which is not the norm), for this school year. The benefits included a completed computer lab, a new parking lot, and money raised for a free standing changable letter sign. All PAID for! It is very exciting to pull together as a community for what is in the best interest of the children. They have a 'no tolerance' policy that is enforced concerning, profanity, violence, bullying. I've been active at WHE 8 years. Saddly, White Hall only goes to the 4th grade.
