I have been a teacher for Freedom Project for 3 years. During my time with them, I have seen the school grow from 125 students to over 600. Each year the administration and staff have worked to build a school that strives for excellence and provides an alternative for parents seeking solutions for educating their children. We believe in providing students with a strong foundation, so that they can learn to think critically about the world around them and become responsible, well-educated citizens. There is no one size fits all when it comes to educating individuals, but our school serves as a wonderful option for families who choose to partner with us.

As a U.S. History and American Studies teacher in my first year with FreedomProject Education I have been impressed with the quality of the support staff as well as the students. Here is a group of young people who recognize the need for a complete education - one not often offered in many of our classrooms today in America. I've been pleased with the level of participation and the real desire the students have to learn more about the principles our great country was founded upon - and their desire to become involved in keeping it strong. It's been a great experience.

I have taught with FPE in the elementary section since the beginning of elementary! FPE offers a wonderful elementary education program. The curriculum has been very well chosen. In elementary, each subject area is covered during classtime. My students love the online classtime and never want to miss their time online. I have had the privilege of having shy young students come into my class and for the first time ever emerge into beautiful talkative social butterflies online. I have had the privilege of observing students who were struggling to read and watching them turn into avid readers. I have known students who were defiant and miserable in their schooling, come to my class and become very obedient and develop a love of learning. I definitely strive to use technology resources in my online classroom and know that all elementary teachers are encouraged to do the same. I try to always make sure my class is fun and interactive...never boring.

Freedom Project Education was an answer to prayer. When we pulled our soon to be 7th grader out of the public system to homeschool, we weren't sure what we would do. We decided to use a computer based curriculum in his first year, so as to have control over his lessons and schedule. However, we were curious about FPE's stated approach, so we decided to start small by enrolling him in just one course as a way to try them without a huge investment of time or money. From the first day of class, we were impressed with everything from the teaching style to the level of accountability that is required of each student to how responsive his teacher and administration were whenever he (or we) had questions or problems. Our son enjoyed the class so much that we've decided to enroll him in the program full time for his 8th grade year. We hope he will continue to be a part of the program through the rest of his years in school. We highly recommend FPE to any family who is looking for a program that is based in Judeo-Christian principles, is challenging, fully accredited, teaches students how to think critically and is very affordable.

I have been teaching at Freedom Project Education for 4 years, and I am very much impressed with the professional, college preparatory, accredited, Common Core free education that our students are receiving. All of the teachers are extremely qualified and dedicated to their students. They are interested in ensuring that every student that leaves his/her classroom is prepared for the next step in their educational career. The administration works tirelessly to ensure that the technology is working properly, the teachers are well prepared, and the families and students have everything they need to be successful at FPE and in the years to come. Freedom Project Education is a fantastic option for students who want to take a full course load or for those who just want to take one or two courses to supplement their other school work. Either way, the teachers and administrators work diligently to make sure that their students have the best education possible.

We have 3 kids enrolled with Freedom Project Education this year and it is their first year. They are in 4th, 8th and 10th grade. All 3 were enrolled in Public School prior to FPE. We are very impressed with the curriculum that FPE is using and the way that they have their system set up. Our kids are able to login to their own classes and submit their own homework. Having a live teacher to talk to and ask questions is crucial especially for our 4th grader. I really like how the teachers interact with our kids and how they involve all students in the class. Our kids are allowed to discuss and write about their beliefs without being discouraged. The reason why we chose FPE is because they teach a Biblically based Classical Education and the curriculum is not aligned with Common Core. We are so excited to have already signed up for next year and look forward to our kids earning the best education that is out there.

We enrolled our daughter in FPE at the start of her freshman year of high school (2012). We couldn't be more thrilled with the education she has received this far, and will continue through her senior year (2015-16). The classes are challenging and the teachers engaging. We are so glad we chose FPE for our daughter and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top notch education for their child.

I have worked for FPE for two years. During my tenure, I have been impressed with their professionalism and commitment to excellence. I took two teacher education courses over the summer, and I was alarmed and saddened about how teachers are now being trained to teach due to Common Core. I am thankful to FPE for their commitment to remain Common Core free of curriculum as well as teaching methods. FPE is a vigorous online private school. It can be a good option for both new and veteran homeschoolers who need extra support. FPE partners with parents by taking the responsibility for planning, teaching, and grading subject matter. Parents are asked to provide the necessary technical equipment, assist with time management, and monitor assignment completion and class attendance. As a teacher, I have seen students grow in confidence, initiative, and responsibility for their own learning. Not only is FPE helping students in their K-12 years, but providing a sound foundation for life-long learning.

NO Common Core, NO Government funding, NO worries about our children being taught revisionist history, . . . this begins the list of things for which we thank Freedom Project Education. Our home school family became an FPE family in 2012. We tried one class for our eldest child. He loved it. So did we. Our two eldest are now enjoying their second year as full-time FPE students. Next year, two more siblings will join them. We plan to have all eight of our children graduate from FPE. That brings us to another item we love about FPE; it provides AFFORDABLE accredited classical private education for a large family. FPE is a perfect fit for us!

All of our school-age children receive first-rate, classical education through Freedom Project Education. It has a fully accredited curriculum and is recognized for its authenticity and excellence. We love that they don't compromise their beliefs or high academic standards and that it is grounded in the Judeo-Christian belief system promoted in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers. We have found the administration and teachers to be very responsive to making improvements and vigilant about maintaining high standards. They are very easy to work with as well. If you want your children to learn "how" to think and not "what" to think then we highly recommend Freedom Project Education.

We ve been with FPE from the beginning--2 daughters, one elementary school, one middle school--and are very pleased with the school. Solid teachers, wonderful curriculum, and helpful staff. We are especially happy about FPE responsiveness. Over the years they have reacted quickly to problems or complaints, and the transformation from year to year has been nothing short of amazing. They took a great idea and made it work through trial and error, growing FPE into a first rate, professional outfit that maintains a small school feel. Awesome!

FPE is the best K-12 school I know of, and I attended some of the most expensive and excellent private schools in the world. That is why I teach here. The students are bright, the staff is great, there is no Common Core, and teachers are free to teach the truth and the facts while instilling Christian values without fear of lawsuits and government interference. It's true that FPE is rigorous--the classes can be hard and a lot is expected of students. But who would want to send their kids to a mediocre school where students are not challenged to do the best that they can do? If you want your child to be mediocre, FPE is not for you. But if your student is up for the challenge and you want them to receive an excellent education for a low cost, this is the place to be. As soon as my children are old enough to be in school, they will be in FPE.

FPE is a high-end private education, except better! Our son is graduating this year, and our experience with FPE has been incredible. The teachers/professors are the best of the best, and truly seem to love what they do, which directly translates into an educational experience that promotes a love for learning. Our son has had professors with impeccable credentials (even Ph.D's), and we believe he has received a college-level education in many of his courses, and is well prepared for college as a result. Freedom Project Education receives our highest recommendation, and we are grateful for the staff and teachers, their professionalism, and their commitment to a high quality education for our children and teens.

The teachers were largely very competent, but the administration seems incompetent, does not follow the school's handbook, and does not live up to the school's claimed Judeo-Christian philosophy. When we objected to their handling of a discipline issue with our child, we were given a very cursory statement of their view of the matter, and they refused thereafter to discuss it at all, even after receiving a detailed letter making cogent arguments that they had been hasty and their expulsion of our child was unwarranted. They fired a teacher in the middle of the first quarter, after (they stated) dilly-dallying about her performance for three years. The technical issues were never-ending. I am so glad to be done with them.

We have attended FPE for the last 4 years. It has been a crazy ride of continual changes websites, curriculum, grading, teachers, rules and regulations you name it they have changed it we are NOT returning. We have 5 children, one graduated in 2013 and it was considered homeschool and we had to draft our own transcripts for college. She is in her 2nd year and doing well. Our current senior missed a critical test and she had an A, within 12 hours of missing the test I contacted the teacher and asked if she could still take it, she has no history of missing anything. The answer was an ABSOLUTE NO, I went above the teacher and got the same ANSWER NO. This is causing her to pass with a low C, no matter if she gets A's the whole second semester. They are now accredited and running the school like a private school or actually a college there is no grace or second chances. This is so unfortunate, online school requires a lot of parent involvement and tutoring to have a successful out come. Public School/FPE similar

So we are about halfway into our 8th grade year. I am very pleased with FPE. The just obtained accreditation with the National Association of Private Schools. As far as home work goes ..I actually supplement my son with more. I expect FPE to fill most of his days with at lease 4 hours or more of instruction, studying and assignments. I pulled my son from one of the highest rated districts in Southern CA. I expect him to get a better education then the one my tax dollars pay for. He still takes CA standardized tests and is above average this year. I am happy that FPE is giving him a well rounded education for the time being. I plan on moving forward with high school and keeping his affidavit with a local private school for local back up and support.

We spent months researching homeschooling options and decided FPE was the right for us. WHAT A MISTAKE! First, we were told homework would be typical of what public schools give now. WRONG! We spent most nights until 11pm trying to keep up with the insane amount of homework. We talked to the administrators and were told "that's the curriculum". We started dropping classes just to try and catch up and finally pulled them 7 weeks in. The "Fridays are free" concept is inaccurate. We were doing 8-10 hours of homework easy, same with weekends! Within 3 weeks my kids were crying and begging to go back to public school. Be cautious of the "Non Common Core" they claim. While they don't use the materials, they DO subscribe to the mindset, no deviations from the curriculum and teachers have no authority. (FYI, my wife and I own a company that consults politicians on many issues, PARTICULARLY COMMON CORE. Working with Governors, Senators and Legislators) In the 2 months our kids attended FPE, we saw MULTIPLE teachers fired and dozens of direction changes. There WAS a parent forum on the FPE website where other families stressed the same frustrations so, they removed the forum! AVOID FPE!

The upside: live, online, common-core free homeschool classes. The downside: We have found that the quality of teaching can be very uneven. Some teachers are competent, while others are not. Unfortunately, you might not be able to switch to a different teacher because there likely isn't an alternative teacher available. In which case, you're stuck. And no refunds are allowed once the class begins.

A wonderful Common Core free school, their standards for both teachers and students are quite rigorous. Much of the school's curricula is centered around Christianity and the principles of liberty that America was founded upon. I would highly recommend FPE to anyone seeking a great school that offers a wide variety of classically based classes.

FreedomProject Education is an excellent alternative to the public school system. Their teachers are fantastic and the fact that everything is LIVE online is truly amazing! It is so great to see a school that respects our countries heritage and does not shy away from praising God. Way to go FPE!
