St. Mark is a wonderful school. Not only does it prepare its students for high school, but its mission focuses on preparing its students for eternity. Each day at St. Mark, the children hear and participate in devotions, Bible history lessons, and Catechism lessons. Each day the children are reminded that they are sinners and deserve an eternal death in hell. But they also hear that they have a God who in his mercy sent his only son Jesus, to be their Savior from sin. Romans 3:23-24 sums it up best, "There is no difference for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." God's Word gives St. Mark its purpose. Many parents and public school teachers have commented that the former St. Mark students have an excellent work ethic when they enter high school. They do their homework and also behave appropriately in the classroom. What a wonderful blessing that St . Mark offers its members and those outside the congregation that are seeking a Christian education. The parental support is also fantastic. This is shown by the many programs that St. Mark offers its students.

Individual attention, caring staff, quality instruction. Lots of extracurricular activities. Kids are assessed and learning activities geared to their level. Kids are challenged to excel academically and in character and integrity. They use memory work, group work, and traditional learning as well as innovative, hands-on projects. Very satisfied with our child's experiences, and although we did not attend this church, we were given fair and equitable care. Very happy with our decision to open enroll here.

Wonderful for teaching your kids biblical knowledge. Not so wonderful for the rest..worksheets, worksheets, worksheets. No hot lunch except for once a week... twice a year you are required to team to cook it for all 150 students and teachers. Adequate playground, in the bad weather most kids go into the gym where the older kids take control of all the basketball hoops. Wonderful parents... send your children here if you want them to mingle with the best families the city has to offer! Tuition is to be paid if you are not a member of their church. Lots of early release/ off school days that don't always fit with the rest of the district so you get to transport your children often.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
