I am very satisfied with Longfellow's Special Ed. I am glad my son goes to Longfellow. Longfellow teachers care about the kids, this is part of what makes Longfellow a Great School.

Longfellow has some of the best teachers in the area. The deversity of the school population really creates a feeling of unity and understanding, as the teachers and staff teach their students about the different cultures around them. I am proud my children are students at Longfellow.

I am so glad my children attend Longfellow School. The school is truly diverse and the different racial groups are well integrated. Many students are from low income families, but the school does a great job reaching out to these families and enriching the lives of their students. Kids learn to respect each other's differences and accept one another. Children needing special education receive the extra help they need but are integrated and appreciated within the school community. Kids who do well in school are given opportunities to shine and excel in different ways. The positive environment at Longfellow encourages creativity, community service, tolerance and mutual respect. I can't say enough about this great school and its contribution to the community.

An older building, but has been kept up very nicely. The teachers are some of the best! My daughter loves it at Longfellow. For an elementary school, these students & staff, have so much school pride! Yes, there is a lot of kids here from low-income families, but they are involved in so many events in and around the city. The school is not only making sure these kids are knowledgeable, but also showing them how to get involved in the community.
