Somers Elementary School

The teachers and the principal truly care about the students. I am quite pleased with academic preparation my child receives and he has access to extra curricular activities that he really enjoys.

This school has by far the best parent involvement I have seen. The teachers are dedicated. The principal is involved and understanding. The office staff is outstanding. Everyone works cohesively for the best education of the student. A very solid school. The special education program is phenomenal. I believe this school is the best elementary school in the KUSD.

This is a wonderful school, a lot of parent involvement. The Teachers expect the children to do all that is expected of them including turning in assignments on time, if they don't believe me you'll hear from them. Great Principal...Great Teachers!!!

My son just started attending Somers this year 2007/2008 school year. He has adapted quite well...alot of parent involvement, and the teachers and adminstrators expect all pupil to do their homework, as well as reading every nite.

Somers is an incredible elementary school. I have been impressed with the quality of the teachers and the learning environment in the classroom. Both of my children have loved this school and the teachers.
