After school programs/additional aademic clubs are few. Teachers are having to teach to the test, it seems, or having to implement new teaching methods/software, and have less time to focus on students' actual learning and grasping the basics. Office staff are attentive and very helpful. Disappointed in the academics though we moved here for the great ratings. Also staff turnover rate is too high to maintain consistent standards.

Lakeshore Middle School is fantastic. The academics are rigorous and the teachers are amazing. Everyone works together to give each student the best experience. The 6th graders are eased into middle school by being all on one floor - mostly separate from the 7th and 8th graders for their first year. I am thrilled my children get to experience this outstanding school.
