What can I say about this amazing school. Well first of all dont tell anyone about it please because it is a hidden gem. My husband and I were very frustrated with the overcrowded, unsafe, dummed down public schools for our young daughter within Racine Unified. We then found out that we qualified for the Racine Parental School Choice program. We went there took a tour.loved the small class sizes, friendly teachers and family feel of the school. We registered her immediately and it was the best thing we ever did !!!! Mt daughter actually loves school again !!!! Go and check it out and spend some time there and I am sure you will see what a special place Mount Pleasant Renaissance School truly is !!!

Amazing school. The teachers are great. They have a wonderful set up. I hope they keep building on. I hope one day they have special education there too.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.
