My family's experience at Spooner Middle School has been below average, except for the 5th grade program. The discipline system needs revamping. Some teachers hand out infractions like candy or water and they have no real impact on the student. They need more positives and natural consequences. Different learning styles are not looked at or considered. I feel most of the teachers want to do the 'same ole thing' and aren't interested in change. Some are just 'selling their hours' until retirement. It was a very frustrating and disappointing time in our lives.
