Way better than public schools in other areas and other states. We are grateful. Thank you Dildine.
This is the worst out of the top elementary schools in Cheyenne. Only the south side schools are worse. The principle is a big liberal democrat who may have left to run for office. The school was generally a mess and disorganized and the teachers were average and below. This was about 4 years ago. It's probably a whole lot better than some inner city schools.
Dildine is a wonderful school. I have two childeren who attend there. Therer are plenty of activities to keep the childern busy. It is a well run, well structured school. I would have to give it a 5 out of 5 stars. I volunteer there myself and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. I could not think of a better school or better leaning enviroment for my children. I feel like all the teachers are 100% committed to teaching and they all have my thanks. This is now my sixth year of sending my children here and I think Dildine is preparing my children for a very successful future. Thanks Dildine!!!
My children attended Dildine in the late 1980's. My grandson is now in second grade there. I was pleased with the education my children received and so far have been very happy with my granson's teachers. I attended the Christmas Program at the civic center on Tuesday. Mrs Matthews was a super music teacher when my children had her and I must say she has just continued to improve! What a wonderful, wonderful program. You are very luck to have such a dedicated music teacher. I just hope she plans on continuing to teach until both of my grandchildren their elementary education.
I am very pleased with this school. My child attended Dildine from Kindergarten until 2nd grade (presently) and he is thrilled to go to school there each day. We have been blessed with great teachers there who were always patient and kind to my child and communicated with us well as needed. The resource staff is superb as well.
Not happy with principal, each year child was placed with teacher that needed to retire and usually was after the year. Felt structure and strict environment was what was needed. No matter how many times I said otherwise and wanted another teacher. Finally after several years got a young teacher that has encouraged my child and now my child has taken off wonderfully, now loves school, isn't calling me crying everyday because how horrible of a place it is. Not the only parent this has happened with, I cannot even begin to share with you the things that even teachers have told this child and how bad they have made this child feel personally. I am thankful that a new teacher came in 1/2 way through the year who have been an inspiration to these hurt children and motivated them to do well and enjoy school.
