## 4th grade summer learning activities

These fourth grade summer learning activities are designed to be a fun, easy way for your child to practice important skills over the summer. You can supervise your child while they are doing these activities or give them the worksheets and printouts and check on your child’s progress periodically throughout the day. Fourth graders should be able to work independently for an hour (or more!). For the science activities, an adult’s curiosity and assistance may be needed. Remember, fourth graders respond better to positive feedback and encouragement, so showing your enthusiasm for whatever your child accomplishes will give them motivation to keep trying!
