I think that this school is awesome bc the teachers RLY care for the students, and the kids in the school r actually rly kind to one another, mostly everyone gets along and there is no cliques, or anything like dat. Everyone hangs with everyone. If you want a nice, calm, safe, learning enviorment then yuh should go her.
i like this school because it teaches my kid alot of new stuff. also the teachers care about the students like if they were theyre own child. i am very happy that my child went to this amazing school.
my niece and child go to this school and they are very happy and excited that they picked this challenging and amazing school. we also think the students that go there and want to go there are making the best decision in their life.
i currently attend this magnificant school and can honestly say that i have made the best decision of my life. i have been to other highschools and the were good but not great. Prosser is an example for other schools,
He picks and chooses which programs will place him in a good light. If you're child is not in the IB program or ROTC , expect them to 1) drop out and become a product of their environment 2) get pushed toward a labor position IF they graduate 3) join the military. The teachers will place an emphasis on those kids that are gifted enough to get in the IB programs where they will receive any and all information on the colleges of their choice and scholarship programs overseas trips etc. Those kids that need additional attention WILL fall to the side and considered problem students. If the teachers don't put forth an effort to reach them, the kids will feel they have no other choice to become who they think they are. I'm fortunate my kid is in some Honors classes as well as Advances Placement so she will not all scholarship info, but maybe financial aid will help. Until Ken Hunter is removed, the school will not be somewhere you will want to send your kid
My school may not be the best, but it has given me such opportunities as traveling to Peru and other great places. There is a myriad of opportunities for students here. The IB Program is also a huge asset. Seniors are continuously gaining admission into such schools as the University of Chicago and Vanderbilt.
this school has its flaws buit what school dosent....the teachers take care of their students and show genuine care for each of the students school life as well as their home life...
im a freshman and i really like dis skool bcuz the teachers are really nice and teach very well!!
Its unlike any other school in cps, we have many wonderfull students and faculty. I am proud to work there and be an alumni
This school is better than most Chicago public schools but still falls short in key areas expected of a college preparatory high school. The most damaging areas are the quality of teaching and level of teacher involvement.
