I have been so impressed with the teachers, staff and principal of this school. Everyone here cares about the achievement and future of the students. It is a first-class school. The rising test scores are show to this. I always feel welcome here.

This school always smells like a public urinal and the staff is so very unprofessional taking care of personal business while parents gather around the office and no one has the decensy to even ask how they can help overall the worse school I have had the displeasure of ever walking into

Dett is a fantastic school that really cares about its students. The prinicpal, Ms. Bonner, treats her students and parents of students like they are extended family. The school makes it easy to get involved in your child's education. Definitely the BEST school in Chicago!
