This school reminds me of a suburban school. The area is very lucky to have so many experienced teachers that have obtained higher education degrees. A majority of the teachers have obtained their Master's degrees while others are National Board certified. The level of education the children are receiving is well above the standards of most city and even suburban schools! If teachers were worried about their paychecks, they wouldn't have become teachers in the first place!
The school does not have the students best interests at heart. They are selective in offering assistance to students who need it most. The majority of the staff do not care for the students as much as their own paychecks.
I student taught there and saw a big improvement from 'my day' there as a child. They have a super strong PTA, great resources, and a staff full of talented and caring teachers. A diamond of a school.
