I agree with the other parent, this school is the worst. You ask the teacher if there is a problem with your child grades,homework, or school work please let me know. I gave the teacher my phone number but I didnt recieve a phone call. I could write a book on this school. THE WORST I transferred my child out.

This school stinks, I believe that the school is not truthful and gives parents a false sense of academic achievement with theire kids, i believe that the school needs to be closed down and turned into a charter school. The report card are misleading and most parents are not heard and considered a problem if they are committed to their kids and ask the right questions as it relates to knowing the true level of the classrooms that their children are in. The LSC meeting are at 3:30pm...why? I would not wish this school on my worst enemy. this school need to be more then in a transformation period it needs to be closed

My children attend Ella Flagg Young schools and overall it's a good school. It's the bullying that I am concerned about. I have a daughter who is in the 4 grade now and she has been bullied on since kindergarten. I have good kids and I know bullying is going to happen but this is outrageouss!

Overall,the academical performance is satisfying and the extracurricular activities are great but could be more organized.

My children goes to Ella Flagg Young School and overall this is one of Chicago involved schools. They have parent educational session that empower the parent that in return empower the child. In all things when it comes to a child and their education a parent must make time to be involved. Children do as we do and not as we say. But like with anything there is always room for improvements. I think some of the staff can be a little more professional. The activities are needed in the lower grade levels and their lunch is trouble. I strongly recommend that a child bring lunch from home every day. Thats Chicago lunch for you! Which is sad I must add. Overall the teachers and the principals is involved and great listeners.
