I am a former student of Ruiz and I have to say that it's a good school. The teachers and principal are really dedicated. Two of my nieces graduated from Ruiz and they also had a good experience. I think most schools are good wether private or public, the parents just need to be more involved in their childrens education. The teachers can't perform miracles.

This is the BEST school, there are many teachers, staff and administrators that make RUIZ the best. The importance of the students learning is their main concern.

I am a student at Ruiz, I disagree with the comment below. I belive this is a great school because it has brought me a lot of opportunities. It has a great staff but especially great 8th grade teachers who work hard to give us a good education. Our teacher not only helps us academically but he also gives us advice about anything.

This is a school that started with great potential, but has had it's upper grades taken over by a 'liberal activist' teachers. Including one who was actually arrested in the past for involvements in one of those violent communist demonstrations of the 70's. This are teachers that use the classroom to push their liberal agendas ahead of actual academics. Grades 1-5 are still in good shape but weighed down by the prevalence of an underpriviledge majority with special needs.
