Chicago Academy has failed us. After my son was accepted to the school he has nothing but problems and was bullied all the time. He was afraid to go to school, his teachers became mean and we were told to go to another school. We took him to another school were he is doing alot better. The Chicago Academy kicked out the bullys and they go to the high school my son is at. At his new school the bullys don't bother him and we wish he went to this school at first. Chicago Acdemy does not care about all students just students who they want.

I am a current Senior at CAHS. If you notice the reviews from 2006, you will see many negative comments about anything possible. I have to admit, I hated this school as a freshman because it was new. CAHS began in 2005, and like any other school, it had to find it's path to success, and it sure has. CAHS has overcome many obstacles with its curriculum, students, staff, academics, extracurriculars, and facilities, but now, I can truly say this school has prepared me for nothing more than pure success. As a college prep school, they cleary enforce the idea of going to college from the second you step in the door. Their students are well committed to learning and attending college brought on by the staff itself. I can assure you that any student can succeed at this school, but the student has to want to get there.

I am a former graduate of CAHS and I must admit to the excellence that this school brought me. The negative comments made about the teachers and the curriculum are rude and should not be payed attention to because probably those who wrote them do not care about education. Throughout my four years that I've spent in this high school I found myself in a very supportive environment. The teachers are always there when the students need help. They are the ones who make sacrifices for their students because they want them to be the best they can. If you decide to join CAHS you'll find many challenges which are brought by Advanced Placement courses and believe me there's nothing better than an extra push in your schooling. You won't be disappointed and you can earn a reward at the end. If you're looking for a best experience here it is.

I'm a Senior here at Chicago Academy and part of the First graduating class and I have to say, Half the negative things said about our school aren't true. Our teachers have been there for us since the first day we started here and i've grown such a close bond with some of my teachers. Also our Counsler adn College Counsler have been probably one of the most supportive people, after my parents about going to college. I feel like I'm ready for college after everything this school has rammed into my brain. yah CAAHS! WOOOT

Starting this fall, in its fourth year, the school continues to make great strides with excellent teachers and staff. Extra help is always available for the child who puts forth the effort. The block style schedule means more time for student/teacher interaction and more time devoted to each subject. Teachers and staff who care and parents who care. That is what you will find at this small school.
