Poorly managed by the current administration. Hostile environment for children overall. Negatives outweigh the positives! Not to mention no official choir, band, or even an art program. My child loves these things, but can't have an opportunity to enjoy them fully in school...

This is the worst school my child has ever encountered. My child has been ostracized humilated and bullied by the principal and teacher all because she wrote a review about how nasty and dirty this school is. The principal told kids not to sit by her or talk to her and basically trying to turn everyone against her. My daughter has witness him saying this. Instead of keeping the matter private he humilate her in front of the class about what she wrote in a review. There is fights everyday in the class my daughter was constantly picked on and everytime she tells an adult they don't listen and still fault her. When she tries to defend herself she is suspended right along with the other girls who started the fight. Everytime someone hit and picks a fight with her they want to suspend her and the people who officially started it. The staff even told me they knew my child was pick on and still suspended her when she was only defending herself. My daughter has came home and said the staff cussed at her. A teacher even told my daughter you have some kind of disorder where you need your own private space and no one will hired you when you become and adult. You been warned!!!!

I attended Jacb Beidler in the early 1950's. It always was an important part of tghe westside of Chicago. the foundation I recived helped me to a military career as a Army Captain. a civilian career as a business owner and a state career as a socail worker with a college degree in psychology... everything started with the instruction I receved at Beidler...

Your complaints were true under the old principal. However, you should check out Beidler School now! The principal has really turned that school around. Her work shows that she really cares about the students!

despite the fact that Beidler is a inner city school I appreciate the fact that they go above and beyond the call of duty for the students success... This school has displayed excellent leadership..

I feel that this school lacks a lot of things. First off the sports program is horrible. The students go to practice before school even begins. I haven't seen too much in regards to art and music but I can seriously say that the computer program is lacking to say the least. Apparently not even the teacher knows what to do. The entire school itself is poorly run and it starts with the principal.
