i had three children that attended school there as well as i years ago. now i have grandchildren there. it has great teachers, and is a better school now than when i attended, except for the football program, if they would leave politics out of the football field they may be able to get and keep a good coach. the same thing has been on going for years and they need to do something about it.

There are a lot of good and bad things about the school. There are some truely amazing teachers here and that is probably our biggest plus. There are the basic extracurricular activities, however we aren't very good at any of them but the spirit is still there. This is also where another fault lies, the school puts too much into the football team and the field. Our team needs a lot of work but putting a lot of money into them won't do it (unlike some may believe). Overall it is a decent school, the academics are much better than what one would find at Bell County or Middlesboro. This, however, is the extent of our excellence

A Great school that involves parents in a fully non-'Group' atmosphere. Opportunity for all students. Although I'm not sure if it's 100% school free from drugs but it is something that just isnt seen around class or on the grounds. The middle school is one of the finest I'm sure. My daughter attended there and the educational benifet was just wonderful very strict Teachers and she walked away to enter the high school with the knowledge that she could too make college more than a dream. I read somewhere the high school has a standing avg. of 70% of its graduating seniors(going on to) entering college.
