My daughter went to Capstone, and I it was the best decision we ever made. She was getting lost in her classroom in the public school and went from a classroom with 13 kids to one with 6-8 kids. She also went from group therapy that did not have any impact to one-on-one speech and occupational therapy (they did not even offer OT to us at the public school). I love that the teachers and aides were so caring and kept us informed of what was going on. It is a very small school, but that is much more preferable to getting lost in a large school. Mr. Thomas, the principal, is awesome! He is so involved and is always finding resources to enhance the school. My daughter went from not caring about school to participating in circle time, singing songs at home, and talking in sentences.
