This is the worst school that I have ever taught at. The school lacks leadership and support for both the children and the teachers. Administration is focused on TAKS. The community of Marlin deserves much better. It's a real sad situation since the teacher's are so dedicated to the children. The school needs major help.

I believe the school has made tremendous gains overall. A person just has to look at the rising test scores and see the great improvement over the past 2 years. 2,3, and 4th scores of 9 which is almost in the top 10% grade now have A '10' means that the group is in the top 10% for test scores when compared to students in the same group statewide. A '1' means that the group is in the bottom 10%.

Marlin Elementary has been classified as low perfoming for the past two years. This I believe to be because of poor leadership.
