Stratford is a GREAT school. My younger son goes to Kindergarten at Stratford school in Washington park, Sunnyvale. The teachers are awesome, very friendly, well educated and passionate. The curriculum is challenging and is followed with discipline. Stratford school carefully balances studies with extra curricular activities. My son loves going to school every day.

My daughter started going to stratford school from pre-school and now she is third grade. It has been a wonderful journey so far. She has blossomed into a wonderful girl because of the well-rounded and balanced curriculum. The school has provided a great balance of academics as well as extra-curricular activities, sports and also character education. Just the things that a child needs at this age is all present in the school environment with loving and well qualified teachers and a balanced curriculum. I am not finished yet. My son started pre-school this August and as I know him, he is a handful boy with lot of energy. Three months in the school and with great efforts, love and feedback from the classroom teachers he has learnt to chanalize his active energy to constructive work. He has learnt some letters and numbers along the way, which he is not even conscious of. It is a wonerful school for kids and I would highly recommend it.

Our 4 your old attends the 3 half days/week pre-K program. We are from the UK and were looking for a school with a good rounded academic & arts program..and we found it. My son absolutely loves going to Stratford. The three hour session is split into approx. 30min blocks (art, science, freeplay, math, English, story time etc.). In addition to the class teacher, there are specialist science, music and spanish teachers who join the class for the appropriate sessions. The teachers really think about how to make learning fun for little children e.g. pounding stones into clay to teach them how craters on the moon were made. His main teacher is excellent. She proactively shares what we can do at home and gives regular feedback on how he is getting on. The class size is small. The facilities are very good with air con. classrooms and good play equipment and space. My initial concern was that it would be too aggressively academically focused, but I have found that the program is very well rounded enabling him to explore art, develop his confidence & character whilst having fun learning.

Both of my children go to Stratford, and I LOVE it! More importantly my children LOVE it! The staff is friendly, and caring and the curriculum is AMAZING! They offer a well rounded education, and their summer program is so fun for the kids. I could not be happier with Stratford.

Wonderful school! My elder daughter is in middle school and has been attending Stratford since Preschool. At every step of the way the teachers have been capable mentors and the administrative staff have been very proactive and helpful. We feel that this school has the right mix of focus on academics and extracurricular activities. It is amazing to see the level of parent involvement! Parents make as many friends as the kids every year! No wonder we are sending our younger daughter to the Stratford Preschool program as well. It is the most safe, disciplined, and creative environment we can think of.

I love Stratford. My son is in Middle School and the first time he attended Summer School was when he was entering 5th grade. He improved so much in his math and writing skills. Currently, he is in public school. Last summer he attended Camp Socrates and really enjoyed the robotics class. He loved playing badmitton during P.E. and seeing the BMX performance during an assembly. He made some good friends that he still remembers.

I have to say that I am 'in love' with Stratford. I am not only a parent of 2 Stratford children, but I am a staff member as well. My child started kindergarten this year, and I am amazed with the things that the class is learning. The teachers are so kind and loving. The school s intentions are good, and always in the best interest of the children; they always come first!!! If you have an issue with something, you can go to the principal or teacher and can be assured they will do whatever they can to help you. It hurts me to see such negative things about the school. It is important to remember when choosing a school that often the customers who are satisfied with the school do not share their positive experiences on websites. Book a tour and see for yourself why I truly love Stratford!

I love Stratford! Since my children have started at Stratford, I have seen such a change in them. They love to come to school each day, in fact they don't want to leave in the evening. The school has a wonderful curriculum, and the staff is so warm and caring. The administration seems to really know what they are doing and not only care for the teachers, but for the children. Stratford knows the potential that children have, and have a wonderful way of getting them there. I couldn't have picked a better school for my children!

My son is going to this school from last 3 years. I found the teachers to be very knowledgeable and caring. The individual attention kids get here is amazing, this is pretty evident in the parent teacher meetings. I am often surprised how much they know about my kid, his strengths and weaknesses, as it very well match my understanding about my kid. The most amazing thing we found when he was in PreSchool and PreK was that, his Principal would stand outside daily morning near the parking lot and wish each kid good morning by his/her name! I am not sure how many other schools / principal's can do this.

My child has been going to preschool at the Stratford Washington park campus for a year. I like the curriculum, teachers and the classrooms. There are also plenty of opportunities for kids to do public performances, which is really nice. However, the administration/staff could be improved. The current drop-off and pick up procedures are too painful. The staff could be more respectful towards the parents, eg: parents are repeatedly told to hurry up and not 'talk' in the parking lot, never let go of their kids hands even for an instant. In general, parents are treated like kids!

Many parents enroll their children here because they believe they are paying for a higher than average standard of academics. We have not found this to be true for our children. The teachers at this campus seem to be very stressed out and the principals are outrageously unqualified. One standard of a great school is longevity in their staff, which this school does not have. We have decided to put our children in public school and hire a tutor. We will save a ton of money and hopefully our children will not be so stressed and unhappy about going to school. Inexperienced staff, high turn over, inexperienced principals = children who are stressed and dislike school. This has been our experience at this highly overpriced pressure cooker of a school.

Parents beware and do not enroll your children here. The school accepts an unlimited amount of applications with a non-refundable fee, even though they know your children will not get in. The preschool had a new principal last year and the school went down hill fast. She is young, inexperienced and does not treat people well. She dresses like she is going to a fashion show, not a preschool. I just heard from a teacher that more than 5 teachers have left the campus this year. In general the leadership is terrible, right up to the top. The school lacks long term experienced staff. The school was sold recently and has gone downhill since the new owner took over. A school that charges this much should be able to keep staff, but they are so disgruntled it is bad for the kids. I have pulled my children out.
