Sto-Rox middle school has a great leader in the principal there. The staff and students respect her and she respects them. The school truly understands that children need to be given opportunities to express themselves, they are given the best learning enviroment. The students are proud of themselves. This school district is horrible, especially for special education kids. I can't get a Special Ed Supervisor to meet with my son and me about his learning problems. The Superintendent is very weak.

The Middle School is sterile and uninviting. The School District is disconnected from its own teachers at the Middle School and my children are ignored. A hostile place for learning.

The Middle School has new books, new computers, new environmental club, and good technology lately. Thank goodness someone is working to bring good things to the middle school students. Maybe there is some hope.

The Middle School has improved with 36 more computers and 8 new Smart Boards, more phys ed equipment, and new library books, AV Rover and paintings! Many generous donors are helping the Middle School to become innovative and new!

This school is on its own with no support from the School Board or Superintendent. There are no special activities because there is no money given to this school--Grades 6-8.

With limited money and no support for central administration, we fight for students. We do our best with very little, and we love the children we serve. At the Middle School, we are a true team...all for the good of kids!

This school district is awful! There is no communication what so ever with teachers, administrative personel. No one tells you til report cards go out if your child is struggling with a subject or not turning in homework.....No phone calls , no emails, no letters mailed home! My son has adhd and they are not even willing to help him along at all! They have a dress code however it is only enforced with some children not all of them, some kids wear jeans, tshirts while everyone else is wearing the dress code of khaki/navy pants and polo shirts.
