Wonderful school! The teachers and staff really care about the students and work to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity to learn. This school has an excellent inclusion program and has benefited my children greatly!

Kellybrook is just an all around amazing school. The teachers are so smart and very helpful. They genuinely care about you and the students. Great help with IEP plans and meetings. It's a very clean facility and even quite up to date. I love the functions they throw for students and families.

It’s been a couple years but my oldest son graduated from this high school. He was supposed to have an IEP. Did he ever get one? Nope. The first couple years we had to talk to them about it constantly and nothing was done. He would fall asleep in class and did they say anything to us? Nope. Did they do anything to him? Nope. Basically was just let him do it and not even care. Let’s not get into the fact that he was so stoned out of his mind one day. Did ANY of the staff members say or do anything? Nope. It truly felt that they were there to just get a pay check. Now that he is older now he would say there would be tons of fights often. He would skip class and nothing was ever done about it. He literally skipped most of the school days or slept through them. Did he graduate? Yes. How is that possible? They put him in a room to take some tests on a computer and said that was good enough. The high school we knew was trash before being forced to move to the area as we had a neighbor that went there when he was younger and his brother even went there. Anderson High school is better off, for the most part , torn down and used as a parking lot. I know what some of you may think “well the parents should be more involved”. We were and we rode him to try and do and be better. But it only works when faculty are able to work together and keep kids in line and actually teach them. We put our two other kids in Daleville Schools after that experience. Anderson High School is a joke of an educational institution

My son has been bullied for over a year and the school won’t do anything. He has been called racial slurs on a daily basis. There has been hate crimes towards my son on a few occasions . The principal seems to not figure it out and the district won’t help. Some one from the state needs to step in

We love everything about College Park Elementary! Both our kids are currently enrolled and have loved going to school since day one!The staff is amazing and the infrastructure is modern and fully stacked. Do not let the outdated outside of the building fool you…. The inside has been fully renovated and has everything you can hope for. I would highly recommend this school to any new parents looking to enroll their little ones :)

My son was accepted for first grade, and we were very happy because we thought that the Montessori methodology was going to be great for him, but this worked against us, throughout the year the third grade children who were in his class (Elementary 1) made fun of my son because they said he spoke strangely (he speaks with some words in Spanish and it is difficult to understand him for children who only speak English) he was the only Hispanic child in his classroom, and the truth is I let it go because they are children and they are learning, after 7 months of seeing that my son did not have a single friend and many children rejected him and there was no follow-up from the school seeing a child who is alone most of the time and playing alone. (my son did make friends easily outside of school, but at school he felt repressed by the children who did not accept him). I spoke to the teacher without finding real support for my son's. Many teachers at school seem friendly, and the afterscool and cafeteria staff are great. I think it may be a good school for other people, but for our culture and our family it was not a good experience.

This is the worst school on the whole planet, there are at least 3 physical altercations per day. The school is yes very racially diverse but the school is terrible to LGBTQ+ students. As a bi student the amount of times I have gotten jumped or slurred at in the hall way has been insane. And the lack of consequences is absolutely mind boggling. This school is so overwhelmed too with over 2,000 students. I would not go to this school ever again and don’t recommend it one bit.

My grandson has been going to st clement since kindergarten. He is now in 4th grade and he loves Ms Todd! Parents and grandparents love her too because of her positive attitude that reflects back to the children. One can tell she loves what she does. I can say the same for Ms Montes who had the challenge of teaching kids via zoom. We saw first hand how she engaged every child so in spite of not being in class, kids were in an interactive mode. The school also has zero tolerance for bullying and it provides an inclusive environment where everyone is treated fairly no matter the color, culture or religion. But the jewel that makes this school shine is definitely the teachers especially the names I mentioned above.

Do not take your children here if you care for their mental health or safety. My son was attacked multiple times at school on the playground, and on the bus, and there were never any incident reports filed. I had reported his injuries and his crying as soon as he got home, I filed multiple complaints and just kept being told that I was the problem. I had no way to protect my son. They have no idea what is going on with the kids they're responsible for, which is concerning as these are small children and they should clearly be supervised. They admitted every time that no one was watching and that they were unsure what happened. Even though my son had cuts and a bruise on his face. I wanted to report it to the police and force them to do something about it, but instead, I unenrolled him and put him into a different school for his safety. They do not file reports as they should. There is an investigation against RPS superintendent Pekel for this reason, and I can see why. My son came home one day and told me that they had a lockdown due to a 5th-grade child running around punching other smaller children in the face and hurting teachers. Staff members had to lock the child in the gymnasium and put all the other children in the school on lockdown. NO messages about this incident were sent to parents and nothing was reported. My son informed me of all of this as he was very shaken up and traumatized as soon as he got home. He said he saw the boy punch a little girl in the face right in front of him. The teachers do not ensure the children's safety and they have no record of what they do all day, or when the kids get hurt. I am sure if I was a rich Mayo doctor though, things would have been different. The principal Wendy Moritz was extremely cold and callous and showed no concern for my son's injuries that he sustained at her institution. They also have a poor curriculum. I had homeschooled my son his first year (kindergarten) due to COVID, and I had taught him how to read, write, addition, subtraction, and even some multiplication. Once I pulled him from school and started homeschooling again, I could see how behind he was. They hadn't even started teaching them how to type or do division, and he was halfway through 3rd grade at that point. He They put the kids on ipads, and don't even have them practice handwriting. It's a sorry excuse for a school. Pay attention to your kid's emotions and educational milestones, as this school's staff definitely won't.
