The school has great test scores due in part to the large number of parents who send their children to after-school enrichment, either a place like Kumon or Chinese school. There is low parental involvement. 10% of the parents do 100% of the work. The kids would benefit from a class in manners. I have seen them be sassy with adults, and mean with one another.
I love everything about this school. The teachers and principal are phenomenol--the parent involvement is outstanding!
Great School with teachers who care about the welfare of your child and parental participation and support.
Was quite dissaponited with the school. The staff is not very nurturing, and this is keenly felt in the lower grades.
Overall the school is very good. There have been some inchecked discipline problems amongst the student body and the administration of the school and district have taken very little action. Most of the teachers are very well educated and keep up to date on current educational techniques. there are a few that are in need of some upgrading but for the most part the school rates a 3.5 out of 5
I have had three children attend Regnart and have to say that there are better options in the area. The k and 1st grade teachers are excellent. As you get to the higher grades, it is a mixed bag. Some really good teachers, others are average. The real problem at Regnart is the principal who makes no effort to address parent concerns and who can be down right mean to students and parents. As a result, parent participation in the school as significantly declined in recent years. The Cupertino schools are all academically excellent schools and Regnart is no exception, but if I had it to do over again, I would choose one of the other elementary schools with a better environment.
Great school for my child. It's non-competitive environment really helps students learn at their own pace.
Cupertino School District is known for trying hard to serve children with special learning needs, but Regnart School is not a good example. If you are a parent who does not want your child segregated by design, you should look somewhere else. This is a very sad review to write, and unforunately, it is the truth.
