I am a student currently at Niver Creek Middle School and I see that their are very negative reviews and comments about this school. I believe that it is not the best school but is a great school if you take advantage of the opportunities that are given. If a student is not doing what they are supposed to it is not the teachers job to drag the whole class down for that student(s) but worry about the students that are trying and want to learn which I see happen daily. The teachers do their job and if your student does do what they are supposed to then they can also see that this school is an excellent school. I recommend any student to go to if they are willing to work hard! Inside of the classroom that parents do not see and only take their kids word for is a great school full of great students and staff. I love this school!

We moved here last year. Really liked the teachers but was not happy with the student body as a whole. Every award ceremony etc that I attended the whole entire student body was disruptive and disrespectful. More attention was focused during class on the students that were causing problems than students actually trying to learn. I suppose that if you are a child that is rude, bratty, disrespectful, etc you'll fit right in at this school. Kids that actually wanted to learn, got good grades, etc were put down by other students... children were made to feel they should dumb-down in order to fit in. pathetic. I feel sorry for the teachers that teach at this school. This is a Title I school for a reason. I transferred my child out the following year.

My son did not improve at this school. There is not enogh encouragement from faculty. part of the faculty care more about the public oppinion about the school than the actual students. I would like to see this school improve in the future

My daughter is an 8th grader at Niver Creek, we love it! She is active in band, sports and is an honor student. She has had a lot of opportunities that I don't feel she would have had at some other schools, Yes! Niver is poorly rated, but I feel that that makes everyone work harder, I would not send my child any where else.

my daughter -allejandrah- just loves it here she says that she has gr,at days she comes home does her homework, watches tv, gets her clothes ready for the next day,gets her hair planned out,takes a shower,eats, then lays down all before 8 says she cant wait for the next day and off she goes to bed!!!!!!!!!! she loves this school it should be a 5 star school!!1

As a teacher here, I feel the reviews are not a good representation of how parents feel. I have heard many positive things from the parents that come in, and I feel we have numerous opportunities for families to get involved. Teachers here are dedicated to the students, and we have many students involved in extra curricular activities. I have worked in a few different schools in Colorado, and as a teacher, I am very pleased with what Niver Creek can provide our students!

My daughter is in 6th grade there and has almost no homework - ever. She says they almost never finish any subject in class due to disruptive students. My advice - go somewhere where your child will be challenged and actually learn something.

My daughter just finished with this school and thank goodness! I don't feel the teachers really helped. Some didn't even noticed problems with their students comprehension of the material.
