As a student i have more ciews on this school than a parent and i would say this school is a great experience that will prepare you for later in life. Also were are all not so snotty and rich some of us have one parent and finical ad
This schools is very snobby. They are very misleading through the admissions process. They only have very few openings. In order to get in you have to right a bigger check, how else could they properly assess a 5 year old.
The best. I would not have put my two boys in any other school in the city - brand new state-of-the art classrooms in a beautiful setting of old San Francisco mansions. The teachers are ideal - we're very happy.
It's been a wonderful experience. We love the same-sex classroom education, but it's also great that it's part of the 4-school community so girls and older kids are part of the picture. The instruction is excellent.
We have been happy with this school overall. Quality teaching staff and administration. The kids get all the extras like music, language, etc even at this young age. It is a catholic school, but the religion element is tempered and not overbearing. It is pricey but not out of line for a quality private school. Tuition has steadily gone up. In addtion, it is asked of every family to give more, and of course there are the usual and many fund raising events throughout the year.
Stuart Hall continues to produce students that are 'the best young gentlemen around'. I t doesn't matter if the student is Catholic, Jewish or Buddhist, the kids seem to respect each other and have a well-rounded background. I noticed that many of the alumni are still friends which shows the bond that these kids establish at a young age that is important for their future. The unique size of the school allows all chldren to participate and there is no way to hide. What a great school if you can get your son in.
