This is a great facility and has some wonderful teachers. That being said however, the administration is a disaster. I would describe the individuals running this school as incompetent, immature and unprofessional. If not for the efforts of the teachers and staff at this school it would cease to function at all.

I've been involved with Caminiti for approx. 18 years as the parent of a TMH daughter. I was very hesitant about sending my child to an 'Exceptional Center' but have never regretted the decision to do so. I've always been impressed with the feeling of 'family' at Caminiti and the quality of teachers and staff are beyond compare. The abilities of the students are extremely varied and they are all made to feel that they are a valuable part of their school. Those that are capable of academic learning are assured of a quality education and those that can't grasp the 3 R's (like my daughter) have the benefit of the Community Based Training Program to be able to work in the community. School programs include all students, not just the higher functioning ones. Going to the Prom at Caminiti with her peers has been a special thrill for my daughter.
